It began when Rob’s youngest daughter Poppy was four and starting school. Up until that point she had been going into nursery for the mornings only, and so staying on for lunch was a BIG deal. She was really nervous about it so her childminder, Leighann, had the idea of hiding an illustrated post-it note in her lunchbox to cheer her up at lunchtime. It worked really well, and that evening Poppy asked what Rob was going to draw for her the following day. Not only did he draw a picture for her the next day, but he drew one for her EVERY SINGLE DAY that she went to primary school.
