Rob Biddulph is a bestselling picture book author and illustrator. His debut title, Blown Away, won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. As well as his own titles, Rob also works with successful authors including Jeff Brown (the Flat Stanley series), Piers Torday and Christian O’ Connell. Rob knew he wanted to be an artist from an early age and was inspired by the books of Richard Scarry, Judith Kerr and Shirley Hughes. He began his career as the art director for magazines including Just Seventeen, NME and the Observer Magazine. It was while buying and reading picture books to his young daughter, Kitty, that Rob decided to have a go at creating stories of his own. He now has three daughters, who still provide plenty of inspiration for his creative works. They live with him and his wife in London, and Rob is still hoping that, one day, one of them will go to an Arsenal match with him.
